Gesta Hungarorum is considered as a storybook by all western academic scholars, and it is not a contemporary source either, it was written 300 years after the Hungarian conquest, and it is full with contradictions if you compare it with other real contemporary sources, like Byzantine German Italian Polish or Nistor chronicles..
