Going back 1500 years, that's easely, by my calculations, over 60% non-european.Why do albanians score caucasus, and alot of it, despite their neighbors scoring none?

My dad's family is originally from northern Albania, and my mom's family is from Dibra, Macedonia (of Albanian origin). My DNA is 74% Italy/Greece, 11% Eastern Europe, 7% Caucasus (most of it is probably Turkish from the Ottoman invasion), 4% British, 3% Western Europe, and 1% Scandinavian.

When Circassians were deported by Russians from what's today more or less Krasnodar Krai, not all of them took refuge in Asia Minor or MENA. Some were sent as far as Kosovo.

We don't score much CHG , actually we are the most western shifted balkanites and shift towards tuscans and iberians. I'm so confused where this 'Turk' and Caucasus thing came from. Even compared to Greek members we shift towards north Italy. Btw if she had ottoman ancestry she would score East Asian on her test. Ftdna is generally the worst!

The girl has clear al-arnaut ancestry from Azerbaijan/Caucasus, the 9% non-white and 3% caucasus are a fact.3% caucasus today means that one of her ancestor had 96% chg just 90 years ago(if we take the average albanain generation as ~15 years).Simple math, did you skip the class?

Ancestry DNA and ft DNA are generally bad. She should have done 23andme imo.
@lollipop even if we had Caucasian DNA we wouldn't be ashamed but we don't.

I don't think they are bad. 23andMe is overrated, it is neither better nor worse IMO.
