It doesn't make sense. Byzantines allowed Armenian migrations westwards only when Turks had appeared on the horizon in the second half of the 11th century. Armenians then moved towards Cappadocia and Cilicia. Byzantines retook Crete from the Arabs in 960s.

Good, instead of crying like babies come up with counter arguments like that. But, that does not explain the elevated North African admixture in the island, Armenians barely have any North African. And a few Armenian families cannot change the genetic structure of the peninsula, unlike tens of thousands of Arabs and Berbers.

Armenian territory used to include all of eastern Turkey back then, there was a big Armenian population. They were settled in Crete and there are even toponyms of that, there are villages with the name 'Armenoi' , 'Armeniakoi' etc.
