I'm trying to find examples of statues from other culture that indirectly were significant for a place, but I can't find it. In my opinion however, there aren't strictly defined rules for this and cross-national statues make sense.
I'm not counting Buddha statues in East Asia or Moses statues outside of the Levant. I'm neither counting a Marx statue in Moscow. Those are statues pertaining to ideology/religion.
