I've thought about getting one of these to go along with my grey flannel suit. Like the film said, the name comes from Persian "Ksheer-o-Shakar" meaning milk and sugar. There is also a common Brahmin surname, Ksheersagar from Sanskrit Ksheerasaagaram meaning "Ocean of Milk" a reference to an episode from Hindu mythology.

I pay attention to "Trad" men's fashion. It is not difficult to stand out in America due to the omnipresent deterioration of sartorial standards in the contemporary US.

I have a pair of seersucker shorts and a seersucker dress shirt. They are fun to wear, but not very practical, and I get lots of looks from people when I wear them. When I used to live in the South, it was much more normal to wear it then and when I visit people I know in the South, I often bring it with me.

I would just love to have a couple of seersucker suits for the simple reason that I could actually wear a suit and feel comfortable in it on a hot summer's day or when I'm in the tropics.
