European flag?

I wonder if there is a flag who represent european people. There is the flag of european union, but it represent an organisation which who we can disagree. Me for exemple I wont use the european union flag, even if I enjoy other europeans peoples.

I think it would be great if european people have a flag who symbolyze there friendships/links without any political meanings.

what is your opinion?

The green flag carried by my avatar is a good alternative, even if I find it ugly. It represents true European federalism, far away from the technocrats sitting in Brussels or Frankfurt.

With that being said, I like the current European flag. Originally, the blue flag design with the 12 stars wasn't the flag of the EU, but of the Council of Europe, founded in 1949.

Agree, but the flag has still a big link with EU. And if someone use it seem like a support for EU and not a support for european people.

The connotation is too big to allow the flag to be use by random european.

My idea was more to have something that "random european" can use with pride.
