None of these look "distinctly Northern European" to me. Osborne looks Scottish or Irish a bit, and they have an Asian look to them. Firth and Cavill look somewhat Frankish. Christopher Reeve and Benedict Garrett might pass. Ibrahimovic may have Swedish nationality but he's not Swedish, nor does he look it. There's a Slavic look to Jackman. Megan Fox looks somewhat East European in this pic, but it's a nice pic of her.

In the sense that, in facial features, they don't really look Spanish, Italian, Greek etc. By contrast, some dark Brits like Cheryl Tweedy and Kit Harington do so indeed.

Hugh Jackman looks central European like Austrian, Slovenian, Hungarian or something. The man doesn't look northern European. Most of the folks you posted also passes easier in southern France rather than Norway.
