    For women, all the abrahamic religions and Hinduism are the same in terms of gender equality. they are considered as lower creatures. As far as i know, Budhism and Paganism seem, on the other hand, not to have such sexual discrimination . So, it is understandable for a woman to convert to Budhism.

    Bible Leviticus 27:3-7

    3 set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels[a] of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel[b];
    4 for a female, set her value at thirty shekels[c];
    5 for a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels[d] and of a female at ten shekels[e];
    6 for a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels[f] of silver and that of a female at three shekels[g] of silver;
    7 for a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels[h] and of a female at ten shekels.

    Quran 2:282

    And call two witness from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not at hand, then a man and two women. --

    Torah Shabbat 152a

    “A woman is a sack full of excrement, brimming with niddah* at its opening, yet everyone pursues her!”
    * menstrual blood

    Hinduism

    Asheela kamvrto – 5/157.
    "Men may be lacking virtue, be sexual perverts, immoral and devoid of any good qualities, and yet women must constantly worship and serve their husbands."

    Na ast strinam – 5/158.
    "Women have no divine right to perform any religious ritual, nor make vows or observe a fast. Her only duty is to obey and please her husband and she will for that reason alone be exalted in heaven."

    Trinsha 9/93.
    "In case of any problem in performing religious rites, males between the age of 24 and 30 should marry a female between the age of 8 and 12."

    The interesting thing is you can use philosophic logic to prove GOD exist. I use the logic you cannot have something come from nothing so something must of always of existed. It is not perfect reasoning but how I look at it.
