Default I'm Christian but i think i could embrace the buddhist Values

I'm Christian as i was born in a culturally christian-atheist society that is Italy.

i think thought that i could embrece buddhist values too; it s thought the general culture past of family plus society thought that maybe would never bring me to enter the buddist comunity.

and i'm not obsessed-zealant with religions that too.

I could become a Dueal Christian-Buddhist person because i love and belives also in christians value.
; even if christianism makes you belive only in a christiianism.. i mean the catholic conception rules

i think the God-Human spitituality revealed greatly itself in theese two religions.

absolutely not in Islam (as i personally see it 0 positively and all negatively) and not too obviously in Judaism (few filosophic huminists values too in that religion) thought i don 't hate jews nor i would hate a moderate islamist if they exist (in that case i'm doubtfull thought.. so that i might desrespect almost all islamist people)

Explain more clearly how you could embrace Buddhist values. Which do you mean? Non-attachment? Compassion? Philosophical concepts like Anatman (Not-Self), Pratityasamutpada (Interdependent arising of all phenomena), the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path?

exactly those. they are good philosophicl priniples that act as a prism that filters your life and make you see life by and in the light of those principles

Buddhism excatly like Christianism is a religion full of good principles

a thing that cannot be said for other religions

i'm christian. i would likely stay christian because italian society/culture has all reference to christianism both historcial and not.

that because as i said i'm not one of those zealant with religion

more i could likely became a christian with a second soul-curiosity and motivated side for buddhism.

likely i will buy books about buddhism and read them because i'm curious of its principles

i belive that more that one religion is the bringer of good philosofy and good life

Sure I'm generally agnostic but since my parents are Buddhist, lean more to that any religion.

the other majour religions on this hearth are absolutely evil-stupid (aka the Islam of today or probably the islam since beginning)
or refer only to an ethno-nation (judaism, so that is not bringer of true humanists values)

or divide society in not moving ethno-cultural castas (hinduism)

Buddhism spread as far as Gaul where there have been found Hellenistic Buddha statues depicted wearing togas, Greek hairstyles, and halos. Buddhists and Christians met along trade routes in Alexandria Egypt where they traded traditional stories, i.e. there is a parable in the NT where Jesus tells one of his disciples while holding his head under water, 'This feeling of drowning is how much one should desire to find God.' The same story is found in Buddhist literature where Buddha tells one of his disciples, 'One's desire for Nirvana should be like a man drowning.'
