On being Elite, it always depends on where and when. For example, nowadays, if you equate elite with aristocracy, as most royals and nobles descend from the Capetians and the House of Wettin, both from the same subclade of R1b-U106 (I forgot the specific subclade). If you equate elite with money and political power, it’s gonna be J1 and J2 Jews, and I, R1b, and a few E-V13 people as the most rich. And that’s for Europe and Americas. If you go further back, you’ll see other haplogroups depending on time and place. As for E-V13, it’s far spread suggests it’s older than supposedly thought in Europe, and probably not from the Near East, as the oldest sample has been found in Catalunya, but there has been two bottlenecks in the Danube area, and from them all modern E-V13 is descended. Was it elite? Some probably were, and other part of priestly families, but some might have been moved around as soldiers, common folks, and even slaves.

Now, on E-V13 and any other E clade being originally black, that’s not fully true. Findings such as the early humans in Morocco and Ethiopia show Proto-Caucasian features, thus signalling that the first of humans were indeed Proto-Caucasian. Move forward to 36000YBP, the Hofmeyr skull found in South Africa, and probably some clade of E, is virtually identical to European skulls of the same era, even though that individual lived far after CT had exited Africa. If you see the less ancient Afalou skulls, they’re also Caucasoid. The point is: all skulls found in Africa from 300000 to 20000 YBP in Africa are Proto-Caucasoid, and no Negroid remains were found older than 13000 YBP have been found in Africa. Therefore Negroids are more recent than E, and mostly shown up in E2 and E1a areas, therefore E1b1 clades were never negroid, but Proto-Caucasoid and Caucasoid. Also, in the specific case of E-V13, it developed in Europe, and even its ancestors down to E-V68 and E-M78 originated in the Northeast of Africa, an area originally Caucasian, and still mostly Caucasian to this day.
