Yes, Austria-Hungary was german-hungarian oriented just like my family. The collapse of the Habsburg Empire was the worst thing what happened in Central Europe. The great power status of the Monarchy guaranteed the central european peoples interests against foreigners, and now these small successor countries are just puppets of foreign powers like Brussels, Moscow without any sovereignty. Also the living standards were much better compared to others than today:



Of course the social structure was obsoleted in the Monarchy, especially the minority policy and i think it would has changed in the future without the WW1: giving rights or autonomous regions for bosniaks, croats, serbs, romanians, slovenes, ukrainians, slovaks, poles, czechs, italians and every minority to be equal to austrians and hungarians. We really needed this minority reforms to keep the Empire together, because this region (Central Europe) is one economical and cultural entity even we speak different languages.
Very sad to see that everything what we worked for in the last half millennium is over and the beautiful Habsburg Empire was destroyed by commies, ultra nationalists, various rebels and robbers.
