    Default Citizenship and Y-DNA

Should genetics be taken into consideration for people who apply for citizenship?

Does it make any sense to limit citizenship approvals to certain Y-DNA groups/subgroups?

I've heard that Israel is evaluating persons Y-DNA as a (Bonus test of Jewishness)

For example we could limit our country (Bosnia) not to accept J1 or C people as potential citizens by law while
we could make citizenship easily obtainable to I2a1-Din people.

    Does that makes any sense?

Why not, not a bad idea!

Advance companies like FTDNA let you download your certificate so you can prove your genetic origin.

For example this is how my certificate looks like:

Well I am waiting my results from 23andme... will be ready in couple of days if not sooner (they are generating reports atm).

Can I upload my Raw Data to FTDNA for analysis?

23andme is not precize for markers... It wont tell you your exact clade nor your str values that you can see on my certificate.

It should not be taken seriously like FTDNA Y-dna testes....

But since you already ordered it, its not bad you will know your Mtdna and autosomal for really low money amount...

Lets see now first what will your Ydna say... What if you will turn J1 arab or Q mongol?

No, not to ftdna afaik. But you can upload to dna land, geneplaza, wegene etc for free for more autosomal results... if you later wanna do deeper testing on your ydna you can do like y37 on ftdna

23andme is fora autosomal, youll know your mtdna, ydna and autosomal make up of past 300-500 years afaik... but for deeper subclade testing of ydna, ftdna is the way to go.. we can always help you

Well nothing I will share it anyway.

It is highly unlikely that I am J1 cause I am milk white, while my father is med. We are all confirmed Dinarics in family so it's more likely I2.

We don't have any Turkish features (and I also wouldn't mind even if we had).

I bet on I2, I would not like to be part of any R1 group..

    My certificate says:

"Haplogroup R-P312 is the descendant of the major R-P25 (aka R-M343) lineage and is the most common in Central Europe, Spain, France, Portugal, and the British Isles."

So I should be able to get citizenship of all of these countries, and their colonies.

I2a or ydna isnt really connected to phenotype or Dinarics, just saying,

If anything, dinaric people would of been r1b l23, j2b2 , ev13 etc, considering its been considered partially west asian and related to armenid... but its more of a condition rather than based on ydna or even autosomal makeup

Why not, you can even sue them that you are their legit son that they forget and abandon.

You have all your rights to ask for what is yours..

I was thinking to call some of my Saudi and Arab emirates cousins tbh and ask them for few milions

Well I payed around 160 I think... I can't afford $500 tests cause they don't have any BIG value to me anyways.

What calculators can I use with 23andme raw data ?
