I try to go to church once a fortnight but most cases it's once per month as family outing - my wife takes our kids to church every Sunday as part of their conservative upbringing - they love it.

When I am in church I find myself in extreme serenity and calmness so I enjoy it. But family outing direct after church for lunch is even better as it puts everyone in a trance of joyous and surreal mood.

Having said all of that I will never dismiss cultural roots which at times seems more dominant in me and is just as important. If this all makes sense - so we try to make the most of both worlds. My wife is reading to our kids short stories from Sophocles and Aeschylus and would not have it any other way. Soon we will introduce them to a higher plain of sophists and they can take their own course but we are obliged to at least show them the path.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

How about just believing himself/herself and not any super power at all? Would that really be too painfull for humans today now 21th century (= there would not be any lifes after dead)?

How about these mottos to life:

''Winners never quit, quitters never win''

''I never dreamed about success, i worked for it.''

''Winners dont wait for chances, they create them.''

''Outside of the comfort zone is where the magic happens.''

If someone claims to be pagan and christian at the same time then:

    1) is an idiot
    2) it is oxymoron
    3) he is certainly only a pagan, not christian

I dont think you can, you are one or the other, unless you call yourself christian for social 'status' and is something else actually, like crypto-pagan, if thats the case you are not really christian
