The history of Croatian state starts in 845 obviously.

Bulgaria was almost an empire covering almost up until Pelopponese back then.
The level the steppe Bulgars had truly was incredible when you compared to Balkan natives and Slavs. Just some tens of thousands people show up and cross the Danube and rule all the way for how many centuries

Serbia was always under the shadow of Bulgaria during Middle ages

Our neightbours are very butthurt and saddlesore that they have been under our shadow since 681.

But I sense a strong sentiment of Turkicism in the post.Bulgarian empire was never going to be possible without the Slavic soldiers, who were the main fighting force in our armies at the time.

Bulgars ruled,Slavs fought, the Thracian Greeks farmed.

Territory of later Serbia was a dispute among Bulgarian Empire and Byzantine Empire. The independent medieval Serbian state was not formed until the late 12th century, and it lasted only for 150 years (Battle of Kosovo).

You are obviosly escaping from the class of mathematics, Battle of Kosovo was 1389, from late 12th century to 1389 is 200 years and not 150.

But Serbian state were not created in the late 12th century, Serbian state was created much much earlier.

Dusan's Empire ))))))))))) It was everything but not serious Empire. IT was established in extrem rarely populated mountain areas , which were not really developed parts of Europe, with extreeme little population, and most of his subject were shepherds, because agricultural lifestyle existed in the era, but it was not dominant.
