Who is genetically closer: south Slavs and Early Slavs or modern Turkish people and Oghuz Turks

South Slavs range from Indo-mestizos (mostly native) to Castizos (mostly white in sense of Slavic), majority being mestizo (half half) and some harnizo (between mestizo and castizo).
And they differ in looks from real Slavs as much as Latin Americans who aren't SSA admixed differ from Spanish.

Slavs as unique ethicity are fiction.
Even Czech and Russian pan-slavists from 19th century did not believe in unification of Slavic nation. For Czechs pan-slavism was way for liberation from Austria and useful for awakening of national consiouscness. For Russians pan-slavism had imperialistic goals.

South Slavs and early Slavs. Turkic people are significant different to modern day Turks of any region of Turkey, even those with a sizeable Mongoloid genetic profile.

I would say Southern Slavs are around (at least?)50+% Medieval Slavic and an average Turk 20-30% Medieval Turk genetically, I think no one needs to discuss about that question. On the other hand we are talking about two different cases, Turks brought the biggest foreign influence(and biggest change) to a very important region successfully, comparing to others in that area.

Both are almost the same. South Slavs for the most part are just Slavized local Balkan people who were Dacians, Thracian, and Illyrians. The Turks are mostly Anatolian with Oghuz admixture. The Oghuz Turks were not fully Mongoloid. They have significant Iranic admixture, and many cultural elements. Both Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were Persian areas. In fact Merv was one of the Sassanid capitals. Bukhara was a center of Persian thought and culture but later Turkized. If the Oghuz were pure East Asian they would be different. So both are descendants from locals who were Slavized and Turkified through elite dominance.
