A brief history of the Athenian Acropolis from 3500 BCE to 2010 AD, through 3d reconstructions. Many of the dates shown are always open to debate. The same happens with some buildings and especially those of the Pre-Classical Acropolis which we cannot be sure where and when they were built or whether they existed at all.

Olynthus was abruptly destroyed in 348BC by Phillip of Macedon after allying with Athens. To some extent this is true, the houses are relatively undisturbed and provide a relatively unique look at the life of Ancient Greece before Hellenism swept through and marked the very end of the Classical age. This model is the House of the Tiled Prothyon, a broadly higher class home (or Oikoi) of Olynthus, yet shows the same mix the public and private affairs of the family. Using finds reports and other comparable sites from Attica this model should bring this site to life. This model has been a part of a dissertation on the 'Concepts of Religious Spaces in Athens' and their close connection to the rest of Athenian society. The film presents Greece's history and contribution to Western defense and the Atlantic Community, focusing on the post-war reconstruction effort and the fight against Communism and linking them to the political and cultural heritage of Ancient Greek civilization. The film presents Greece's history and contribution to the Atlantic Community. "Introducing Greece" is part of a series originally designed as "Know your Allies", and finally titled "the Atlantic Community Series". Its objectives were to familiarize public opinion in each of the member country with the other Alliance members and to emphasize the national contributions to Western culture and political traditions, economic reconstruction and allied defense in the framework of NATO. The series was produced between 1954 and 1956 and financed by the US government in the context of the Marshall Plan with the cooperation of the Information Service of NATO, and distributed by NATO. The films in the Atlantic Community Series received large non-theatrical distribution and, in some cases, were shown in cinemas and on TV.
