Asteroid wiped out Dinosaurus, is it needed again, to give another species a chance?

I don't expect relevant answer from religious ppl about this, majority of them do not even believe in Asteroid which fell on present day Yucatan and destroyed entire dinosaurus species, which in the long run gave the chance for mammals, and to humans to evolve.

It is thought that dinosaur species VelociRaptors would evolve into intelligent species as we are today, it is proven today that they were already highly intelligent in their time, but they were just wiped out by destiny or by chance, nevermind, which gave us a chance.

And what have we done with it?

LOL..., Jesus Christ, we don't need to answer to this question , and this comes from eternal optimist (me).

I think Humans had their chance, we just cannot learn, maybe in 500-1000 years in future, but by then it will be too late for everyone on planet.

Humans in general are fucked up, and if some aliens are watchin us and if they have ability for laughing, I think they have humans "24h per day" on "TV" as COMEDY SHOW.

Somethin like; "check out new imbecile moves from one of the most imbecile species universe has ever known, HUMANSSSS, do not miss new episode, yeah, in today episode you can see how they kill each others because of false religions and fuel on dying planet, do not miss this imbecile comedy species".

So, my question to you (and please forget about your religions while answering this), does another species deserve a chance on this planet (AKA; do you think new Asteroid should hit this planet and give some other species in some distant time in future a chance), yes or no?
