DNA/Anthro forum posters tend to be more knowledgeable on this subject in general I've noticed lol. DNA testing companies have really peaked in popularity within the past several years though.

You bet they did! And I think that is awesome. I understand their enhuziasm and lack of information but anyway they should seek to understand better. It is the fault of the companies too. For example if you score 1%X it doesn't meant you are actually related to that population or have any X ancestry. It can be an error.
