I grew up surrounded by dogs, all my friends had dogs in their gardens, I know well their behaviour, as well as cats behaviours. Both of them are very intelligent but in a different way, dog is more inclined to be commanded by his owner, it's the pack mentality, since dog is a social animal, while cat in nature is a lonely predator, similar to leopard under this aspect, he's not inclined to hierarchy and to be commanded, sometimes they tolerate other cats, and they adapt to live in colonies, but their instinct is that of a solitary animal.

No, we don't eat dogs here. This is a stupid tentative for trolling. What we know is that you south slavs gave to entire world an horrible spectacle of cannibalism.

    EDIT
Sorry, i said slavs? My fault, i forgot, Romans.

There is a spirit of independence and a love of the country, in the whole people, that, in a grater measure, does away the vast distinction, observable in other parts of Turkey, between the followers of of two religions. For when the natives of other provinces, upon being asked who they are, will say, we are Turks or, we are Christians. A man of this country answers, I am an Albanian. -John Cameron Hobhouse

However, keeping the dog inside the house IS.

We can keep Cats in houses but not dogs, for they are not clean (most of them).

I had few dogs, but I kept them in the yard, they had their own house.
