...just only 90km land distance from Belarus to Kaliningrad.

Earlier this year NATO forces trained first time and full openly exactly to defense that area and now there is huge military manoeuvres going on just other side of border in Belarus (Russians military forces).
Will there anything happen or not...ever....just looking Kalingrad in the eyes of Russians. It would huge benefit for Russians to have a ''land contact'' to Kaliningrad (nobody can deny that). We do't need to talk about Belarus much in this contex...

But there was actually again one ''contact'' in Baltic sea area this week Wednesday then Russians Tupolev bombers got company from Begian's F-16, Finland's F-18, Sweden's Jas-39 and USA's F-15 fighters (there are manoeuvres going on both in Sweden and Belarus now at the same time). Tracking/following those bombers 70min time.

Big boys ''play/game''...one can only hope that nerves will stand with all pilots.

Swenden has the best air defense system of Europe. Swenden is a neutral and not aligned country, but Russia ever does simulated attacks against swedes as mean to test their own equipment.

Brazil probably will substitute all electronics by israeli ones, because our commanders want full access and control of softwares.

But what you are talking is about the JAS-39A/B/C/D adapted for exportation versions. The JAS-39E/F is more autonomous, except the american engine. The brazilian company EMBRAER will not only assembly Gripens but will also produce parts of these aircrafts, being partner of swedish SAAB.


We are even aiming argentine market for Gripen NG.
