My father's family is from Italy and we still have family we visit there but I will always be an American when i'm there. I'm cool with it

Yeah, but Im not surprised at all. I knew some folks who were stationed in Italy and they had a great time, but Im sure it was in a city in close proximity to the base. Generally folks wont fuck with American soldiers, but Ive heard of some stories, but most were in Germany.

Yeah. I was there and got attacked by Turks with a knife and they still lost. Europeans can not fight. They are not a hard people.

I think you're not allowed to wear your uniform off base because of shit like that now. Its what I was told though and I havent been stationed in Europe.
