I guess they climb on trees, but how is it that the giant eagles and leopards where they live have not managed to wipe them the fuck out? These must be the luckiest motherfuckers in evolution history.

I would say any of the insects that live a day or so. All they have time for is hatch, grow, cocoon, mate, lay eggs, die. There's nothing too spectacular about that.
