My AncestryDNA results. Need help please

I apologize in advance if this isn't the right place to ask this specific question. I hope you guys can still help me out.

As my test results says I am 44% from the Iberian Peninsula. I'm just a little confused here. Spaniards and the Portuguese don't always look very a like. Some are blonde, dark haired, white or brown.

So basically my question is: what does this 44% tells me? How does a native from the Iberian Peninsula really look like? Thanks!

These tests tend to show what population cluster you belong to today.

It is not racial or phenotype.

23andme, ancestry, ftdna, etc will have slightly different population cluster groupings.

(if I am wrong someone correct me, I have more experience with 23andme and ftdna).

No I dont. I was born in Cuba and living in Holland. So basically this means that the 44% could be anything according to the history of the Iberian Peninsula?

Given their proximity and closely shared history it should not be a shocker that they are for the most part genetically indistinguishable.

So being Iberian can mean anything? Isnt the Peninsula based on immigrants from different places?

Your Iberian and Greece and all the other European countries is from your Spanish ancestry as well as the North African you scored same with Middle East

Your SSA and Native American is the part that is new world origin and even so given the percentile that you got it could be just noise
