standard Romanian as spoken in Bucharest has a Gypsy vibe to it, maybe because of the way of speaking of the people, they are more daring and act superior, they've got the chutzpah - I know Bucharest people are among nastiest in Europe, and that is felt in the way they speak. if I hear Romanian spoken by hipsters in Cluj it sounds nicer but also dumber. phonetically people from Bucharest, Iași and Cluj even when they speak the same thing, because of the way each is pronouncing they seem to be speaking totally different languages
