Here's how it works: a certain demographics likes something, a company markets their product in a way which will please said demographics. Men like skulls and snakes and fire and shit, so of course they will be drawn to products which have skulls and snakes and fire on the label. This translates into $$$ for the company making the product.
Seems like you think whoever is responsible for the marketing was thinking to themselves 'how can we make men feel more manly?' whereas all they were wandering was 'how can we make some cash?'
