Google refuses to ban sale of IRA T-shirts

IRA victims are furious at a decision by Google to continue selling T-shirts online which glorify the terrorist group.

In a move that's been met with disbelief, Google is refusing to halt the sale of the items because the IRA doesn't appear on a list of US foreign terrorists, despite the organisation being banned in the UK.

Britain's rule of Northern Ireland has always been with the consent of the majority there. So all the bombings and killings the IRA did for that cause was definitely terrorism.

Northern Ireland was only created in 1921. The first wave of colonisation to Ireland (not just Ulster) in the early 1500s was deliberate but the second wave to Ulster in the early 1600s was mostly Scots escaping famine in their own country.

I suppose it depends if you think a current government is responsible for what happened a few hundred years ago.

I don't think anybody should sell such T-shirts, I hope ISIS, UCK or other T-shirts won't follow it.

The majority are descended from British colonists. The IRA represents the indigenous minority of the north of Ireland. Therefore, the IRA has the moral authority to use violence against the British colonists.

Not really. Indigenous languages are often casualties of colonialism.
