There's no such thing as moral authority, only legal authority, and they did not have the support of the Irish government. Also, they let off bombs on the British mainland - what was moral about that? Would you say a Native American organisation had the moral authority to kill U.S. citzens of European descent?

Native Americans have to make their own decisions about their own future and their place in the world. The Irish government was created by the traitors who accepted partition. Where is this "British mainland" of which you speak? I know of no such place. If you mean the island of Britain then the Irish are perfectly justified in using violence against the British since the British maintain a colony in Ireland against the wishes of the native Irish of that region.

No one wants to go back to "The Troubles" and violence. There is no large support for that anywhere. With the Good Friday Agreement all sides agreed that there would be no Irish unification unless the majority in Northern Ireland agreed to this by a vote. The Irish Republic would also have a vote to agree if they wanted to have to six counties if the Northern Irish had voted yes. From what I know most people both sides of the border don't really care as long as the border remains invisible and there are no restrictions to movement of people or trade. When Britain was in the EU this was no problem but with Brexit it remains to be seen how this will be accomplished. So far there is agreement that Britain and Ireland will keep the Common Travel Area but how this is all going to work with the Irish Republic in the EU and Britain out remains to be seen.

At this point in time, the British have done much to limit their presence in NI. British soldiers are no longer in NI in a military capacity and the PSNI has toned down its Protestant image and made efforts to integrate Catholics. There is no good reason why any Irish (Loyalist or Republican) blood should be shed anymore.
Be that as it may, I believe in freedom of speech and people's right to wear whatever clothing they want to. If someone wants to sell or purchase T-Shirts showing the NSDAP Blutfahne for example, they should be permitted to do so.
