It's not going to happen though. It is different times and the situation in Northern Ireland is not like it was in the 70s. There is no support for that type of thing and anyone looking closely at Irish news would be aware of this. Sinn Féin is purely political and most people in Northern Ireland just want to have a stable life and good prospects for their children. The only possibility I could see for trouble is if there is a hard border. That could ignite trouble and this is why it is important for that issue to be sorted out. It hasn't been sorted yet so and the worrying thing is if the Good Friday Agreement becomes null and void. Ireland is fortunate to be in the EU otherwise Britain would just ignore any prior agreements.
