I dont think so, in Troy Greeks appear like cuckolds.

Troy was criticized at the beginning because Oliver Stone removed all the mystical part from the story, if we read the Iliad, in the story the same gods took part to the war some fighting for the Troyans others for the Achaeans (not Greeks! Greeks as we know it appeared many centuries after).


300 is a good movie, but is not an historical movie, it's a movie based upon the comic 300 which is inspired by history of the 300 Spartans, but adding fantasy elements like monsters, supernatural things and other bullshit.

I like gladiator

Gladiator is boring to me, even although the main character plays the role of a Hispano.
Only two good war scenes, at the beginning of the film and that of the colyseum with tigers and such.

Troy is far better.
But the less popular Helen Of Troy version beats it:

Troy is a horrible adaptation of a classic.
300 is an ok adaptation of a comic book.

300 is certainly less offensive to the viewer's intelligence.
