    but your forget than 300 is from the graphic novel of frank miller it's not purely historical about the battle of the thermopyles,i don't remember exatly troy,but for me 300 because is very graphic very epic and it's the clash between the ancient persia and europe,but as i tell you immortals about the greek gods,is very epic

    Agreed, I just watched Oliver Stone's unrated Final Cut version. I love that movie, it's very underrated. Much better than Troy or 300.

    Troy, the graphics and scenes on 300 were a bit over the top but still good. If I could add a movie to this collection thats a tad similar and would beat them in a heart beat is Gladiator.

    Gladiator is boring to me, even if the main character plays the role of a Hispano.

    I like the Troy movie better (I'm particularly fond of Eric Bana's Hector), but everything about the Battle of Thermopylae -even a highly fictionalized and stylized version- hit different, it's worth a watch as well.
