When my husband and I found out he had cancer which cannot be cured we took a drive to the beach. We switched on the radio and this song was playing. "Rise above this." I thought how is it possible to rise above this? He is getting thinner by the day. A few days later he was dead.



After his death I had to drive his car to my house. I switched on the radio and it was the first song I heard, the same one. I sang along to "call your name every day". That's is what I was doing. Calling his name and never getting an answer. No answer ever again.

He passed away 9 years ago this September and that song still brings me to tears. Not so much the song itself, but what was happening at the time. I shed a few tears whenever I hear this song.

A few things , I'm quite a sensitive person: for example: Pessimistic thoughts about the future (shattered dreams), Bad news (especially about my health or the health of someone close to me), Death of someone that is dear to me, fighting with close friend or knowing I accidentally hurt someone's feeling because of something mean I said (sounds wired but during middle school I was pretty much abused so I'm having hard time with knowing I hurted a friend for no reason).

Nothing. I just drop some tears at max. Generally when someone close is gone or when a depression/anxiety crisis happens.
