I already figured you would probably know it, since many Portuguese immigrants in Canada are from the Azores and it's the most popular club of the archipelago (after Benfica of course).

Edit - And by the way, Portugal didn't qualify for the 98 world cup because of referee Marc Batta. He sent off Rui Costa while he was being substituted because he was "taking too long" as he was walking off. Portugal were winning 0-1 at Germany and that would put them through. But after that 10 men Portugal ended up drawing away in Germany and didn't qualify. After that we qualified for every major tournament.

NFL is a ridiculous competition, nobody else in the World gives a shit about that sport,pro football season is roughly only 3 months, I'm sure americans can live well without it. College football is much more popular anyway.

Pires is Portuguese/Spanish but you forgot Leboeuf, who played the final, cause Blanc got suspended in the semi. Some others are from overseas territory, they are considered French even if they are black, they are not immigrants.

Personally i ll be more worried today, if they were all respecting the national anthem or sing it, it means you are a confirmed multi racial country.
