Is Western Europe closer to U.S. or Eastern Europe?

I mean in term of culture, society, values, mentality, etc.

As we all know nobody wants to have anything in common with Eastern Europe.
I'm an Eastern European so let me be curious how is the world perceived by non-EEppl or even by EEs.

Nobody can be close culture to USA because usa doesn't have a culture.

And Western Europe is not in any way close to Eastern Europe in culture,especially with recent enrichments.

Eastern Europe still for the most part, although ideologically, you can argue that the US and certain parts of Western Europe are more similar. But culturally, the US is very different from Europe as a whole.

Ideologically, overall, Western Europe has been greatly inspired/afflicted by American liberalism and revolution. Eastern Europe too, to a lesser extent historically because they were not under the American ideological sphere of influence but are now under the sphere of American military influence. But Eastern Europe, like the Middle East, will always be bound by hegemonic powers from the East or West. Their geopolitical location and factional regimes have given them this fate.

But how Europeans used their newfound sovereignty led directly to world wars. Imperial European leaders laughed Woodrow Wilson out of the room when he proposed "sovereignty". But perhaps they shouldn't have laughed at his liberalism but took this liberalism for the threat that it was.

I don't care how right-wing or conservative Americans think they are, they are delusional, and doing nothing but conserving liberalism and liberal ideals. And Europe, too, is now very liberal, but the liberalism and revolution of America came before their liberal revolutions in Europe. The only reason Americans think it's European liberalism that controls American policies is because of the neocon + liberal push for globalization, which has allowed UN oversight and other foreign liberal propaganda to influence the left in America. However, I do not agree with isolationism. I support political realism and balance of power, which favors other strong hegemons aside from America, so everyone balances each other's power instead of encouraging one hegemon or the other to think they can get away with aggressive policies all over the globe.
