I am not sure that our leadership needs to do so. Macedonia is recognised by its constitutional name by the US since 2004. That is enough, nobody in right mind can assume that Nato will attack Macedonia. The same can be said for UK, Russia and China. So why we need to worry? As soon as we abandon the pursuit of joining EU and Nato the name issue will disappear.

That is not our problem. That is UN malfunctioning in executing its own principles of equality, by customizing solutions. UN is a temporal organization like League of Nations. We believe that we as Macedonians are not temporal product of the historical events, but rather a historical continuation. Therefore we must persist in what we are, like anybody else.

We don't win, we are not paying the bill for our participation in eurosong, so why we are there anyways? If we are out we can prevent the mockery.

My suggestions to the Macedonian Government:
1. Inform the UN that Macedonia will not negotiate its constitutional name with anybody
2. Inform EU and Nato that Greece will not to have the pleasure of blocking our accession, since we will withdraw our application
3. Work bilaterally with: "A number of countries recognise the country by its constitutional name – the Republic of Macedonia – rather than the UN reference, notably four of the five permanent UN Security Council members (the UK, the United States, Russia, and the People's Republic of China) and over 130 other UN members."

Macedonia wants to enter EU/Nato so it has to change its name therefore "The mood to resolve the name dispute is at its highest, says Hoyt Yee"
Otherwise, you have seen many times this video. US is making clear that as far as US is concerned, I quote from the video " We Americans call the Government of Macedonia." Although US made clear their position, at the same time is supporting the name negotiations. You may ask yourselves why? For me it is very clear way, and that is that the Macedonian Government committed itself to please Greece and accept the role of subjugated party. Watch the video again please.

The only name FYROM needs to change it's name is Republic of Macedonia, and Greeks should denounce any claims to that name.
