If anyone is interested in looking at the subject in more depth this is a fantastic site. I've been fascinated by Jonestown for years.

Jim Jones and Charles Manson are the two greatest psychopaths to exploit the waning days of the hippie movement to form a cult. They had slightly different styles though. And Jim dreamed big.

If you have any interest in Jones or Jonestown at all, then Tim Reiterman's "The Raven" is a must read. The dude was a journalist who was there when the shit went down and was shot on the airfield. The book's worth it for the last couple chapters alone.

Because most people can't think for themselves. Let's be frank about this: most people just follow the leader.

Sadly, this is true especially today because of identity politics and all that jazz. Independent thinkers would always be outnumbered by lemmings.

I'm fascinated by the story of Jonestown and I've read two books on the subject. Leo Ryan and who survived the shooting in Port Kaituma. It's like a big book. There are so many interesting stories related to Jonestown and I still think about some of the people who survived and lost their lives book of ra online. The best book on the subject is Raven by Tim Reiterman who was one of the reporters who accompanied
