Some Afghans still have the ancient Indo-European look.
He doesn't look Balkanic but rather North-Eastern Euro.

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...

Here is the same thing:
Mordvins, Mari etc are genetically more similar to rest of Europeans than Finns are. They are essentially your Basic Euros with some Eastern Steppic (Turkic or Aryan) shift.
This clearly shows that if there is similar ancestry to Early Indo-Europeans found in Uralics, it is only found in Volga Finno-Ugrians and NOT IN FINNIC PEOPLE.
It is clear that Finnics don't share any recent common ancestry with rest of Euros thus Polish theories are fail of the century.
