I would like to revive Ancient Egyptian, not Ancient Greek or "Pelasgian" since I have a pretty good idea what the latter sounded like.

    Old Latin.
If you want to understand the underlays of the European (Western) civilization and read/comprehend from the actual sources you need to know Latin. That language could be revived somewhere like Portugal or France.

Any one of the now extinct isolate languages such as Sumerian, proto-Elamite, Gutian, Minoan. Infact also the language of the Early Farmers or Hunter Gatherers. All of this for strictly educational purposes. And throw in PIE for the lulzz.

I would like to 'revive' my dialect I witness to its extinction. while my parents' generation still uses Carpathian Russian as first/only language, the youngsters are switching to Romanian more and more. they will surely not teach their kids the Ukrainian language anymore..

also, it'd be great to have an even closer language to share with Russians and Belorussians, though we do speak very similar 'dialects' of Russian - so let's say common (East) Slavic, the root of all Slavic stuff
