I don't know if it was a global civilization or several different ones influenced by visitors, so all deveped similar architecture structures.
It depends from the point view different explanations can be given.I feel somehow that mainstream historians don't really look for explanation in fact most of the research on this topic are done by privately.

They always speak one and the same stories because they are storytellers - to get money from naive people. They do nothing else.

Most of the conspiracy guys are genuinely deluded, but there is indeed a fair share of them who just want to make a quick and easy fortune. If people were more hardwired towards rationality, things would be easier, but also more boring.

The thing is we don't have another mean besides 'official' scientifical method to reach objective truth. The approach these guys take to prove 'this or that' discovery or assumption is pseudoscientific because they cannot make and sell the narrative.

Are they? Where is the evidence? I have been following the news about them from the very beginning, for about 10 years, but stopped because the evidence is lacking and is looking like a hoax with each day.

These guys are New Age quaks. Nobody cares about their beliefs, meditations, pagan rituals and so on, do as they like, but they use such discoveries, anti-scientifical sentiment to promote their worldview which is very easy to sell.
