Vlach means latinized Balkanite because the slavs and Germans called them that (meaning foreigner). To say that they are Serb Romanians becaus they speak a latin language is like saying that Germans in Poland are Polish Norwegians.

I'm clearly from Britain, m8. Also Moldovans are more Romanian than Romanians nowadays to be fair. The culture in Romania is fusing with the Gypsy one more and more by the day, while in Moldova it hasn't really changed over the years. Sure, there are more Slavic elements in some places, but traditional Romanian culture in itself is just a copy of the Slavic one.

They don't speak any Latin language. There is a dialect continuum between Romania and Eastern Serbia. Historically, the boundaries between the two countries were quite flexible, so population exchanges were not unheard of.

u are located in Britain but u're originally from Republic of Moldova.
Vlachs speak a very archaic romanian sounding language...close to the one spoken before the reform in Romania. it has nothing to do with serbian language. it's an eastern romance language.

Like it or not, they do not have a separate language. It's still Romanian and the Romanian state has failed them, which is why they are steadily losing their language.

    This conversation is over.

I don't know why you are obsessed about my origin. Moldovans are obviously alpha, but this is irrelevant to this topic.
