A DRUG dealer has been butchered in revenge for the death of a teenage girl he supplied with ecstacy.

Police believe Daniel McGinty was hunted down by friends of overdose victim Carla Deary, 18.


Three men stormed his girlfriend’s house, set off CS gas and then hacked him to death.


McGinty, 24, had been released from jail after serving 18 months for supplying the teenager with class A drugs. A coroner said Carla died after “unknowingly” taking ecstacy at a drug-fuelled party thrown by McGinty in September 2006.


Upon McGinty’s release from jail this year, friends of the teenager vowed to get even.


A gang armed with knives and axes burst into his girlfriend’s home in Croydon, south London, on Tuesday.


McGinty was found in a pool of blood by his brother at his home nearby and was pronounced dead at the scene.



A neighbour said: “I heard a few long and loud screams and a lot of shouting, and then a lot of noise as people ran away.


“Those screams will stay with me for a long time.”


Detectives investigating McGinty’s murder have confirmed they are “looking at a number of lines of inquiry”.


A source told us: “He knew he had to watch his back as people had sworn revenge on him.”

what to say about all this...well this is what the world of drugs gets you but that goes for the girl as well, she was the one who wanted to take pills from a stranger and mess with her brain and as a result she is now dead,
not to give the drug dealer to much sympathy but i mean come on its not like he jammed the pill down the girls throat! if it was intentional like giving her bad junk or slipping it in her drink and she did not know then he would have had this coming, but it seems like her piece of shit friends do not know the concept of taking responsibility for your own actions.

I see where you are coming from because overdoses from ecstasy are extremely rare and this guy probably did not think twice about selling her the drug.

Due to the difference between the recreational dose and the lethality dose, it is extremely rare for a death to be accredited just to the consumption of MDMA. While a typical recreational dose is roughly 100–150 mg (often being measured by eye and dealt with as fractions of a gram), this dose is often then repeated but remains well below the lethal dose. Consumption of the drug can be self-reinforcing while under the influence, and overdoses can occur. People who are grossly obese, or who have diabetes, high blood pressure or heart conditions have a greater risk of overdose death from any stimulant, and should generally avoid MDMA and similar drugs.

MDMA dose is 200 - 250mg split into a first and smaller second dose a couple of hours later, so that is something like 130 + 70mg or 170 + 80mg.

More than once a week creates tolerance, and dosing greater than your max dose in any one session will result in side effects.

if you even read the article, it says in the 5th sentance she was supplied the drug 'unknowingly'. Her drink was spiked.

unknowingly? she is at a drug fueled party, at the home a drug dealer, and unknowingly takes drugs that kill her?
well if it was ((unknowingly)) then she must have been incredibly foolish, either way she does not deserve to die.

i never said it would be ok to drug anyone, i simply said, i have a hard to time thinking she was not already doing drugs and responsible for this in some way, either way i was not there i do not know.
