Default Are majority of Bosniaks considered proper Muslims?

There are vehabija in Bosnia (islamists etc. wahaabis) but majority are only very moderately religious. Their women usually dont wear hijab, they go in bikini to swimming pool. Most dont eat pork but or drink alcohol but would have a rakija (traditional balkan alcoholic beverage) sometimes.

Many of them look basically basically like this

They are improving and I'm happy to see it. Ever since the war in the 90s they are becoming more and more religious. Bosniaks used to be very religious people and you can see from the old videos that most women wore the niqab. But then there was a ban on the niqab by communists and they also put many religious restrictions.

Do you think only the war or oppossition to serbs is the reason for the increased religiousity or maybe also that saudis and islamist put much money into building mosques and propaganda etc.?

A mix between the two in my opinion. Mainly the later though. Perhaps during the Yugoslav Wars or the years afterwards it might have simply been the anti-Serb sentiment, but I think it shifted over.

It's help from Saudi Arabia, and preaching. The opposition does play a part, I suppose. Bosnia is steady becoming more religious.
