I used to dream and when I wake up I would think of what I dreamed about from beginning to end. I did this over and over again until I got to the point that I was lucid dreaming. That was a long time ago though.

I'm still a little unclear what lucid dreaming is.

Is it where you know you're dreaming while you're in the dream?
Or is it a super-realistic dream where you're absolutely lucid about everything that's going on in the dream?

It's when you know you're in a dream. I've done lucid dreaming before. I stopped doing it because it left me exhausted during the day. It's too light of a sleep. The last time I had a lucid dream I was in the passenger side of the car. I knew I was in a car and I could hear the radio. I was beating up a monster. I would stop for moments and change the monster physical attributes. It's was pretty fucking cool but when I came out of it I was so exhausted. I never did it again.

My dreams are often plot based. Sometimes I'm not in the stories but I'm watching. Sometimes I don't like how the story is going and so I change the direction. Sometimes I jump from being one character to the other. Although most of the time I'm the main character.

Yes and no because it's like I'm playing a character in a play or film.

Come to think of it, I haven't dreamed in quite awhile.
I'm usually running from something. Though the most interesting one was the time I got assraped while bent over a barrel

I have a lot of dreams involving affection and sex. I used to dream a lot about my junior high school Spanish teacher.

I had a dream recently where my mom was in my bedroom, but the room was empty except for a coffee table and she went over to it and started praying to Santa Claus.

My grandmother and my aunt died recently, so I think it was me growing tired of my other aunt's references to astrology and my mom's metaphysical speculations for which she has no proof. My mom blames God for her problems instead of being an atheist or agnostic and taking responsibility for her own actions.

I agree, it's your view that the Lord isn't real, like Santa Claus isn't real.

Also, one can believe in fate and the Lord while also taking responsibility.
