It's OK muslims were massacred enmasse in the Balkan wars and later expelled by Greece, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia through population transfers, forced evictions and one-way tickets to Turkey.
Here's one report of this process, but there are many others;

Not really. There was a religious barrier. Here are Turks and Greeks from the same region in Turkey. There's a huge difference. Because Muslims and Christians didn't marry each other/was rare.
It's the Balkan Turks who are mixed. They have lots of Balkan dna compared to other Turks. Well they're still Turks though because they did descend from the tribes that were relocated to Balkans.

I was wondering about everything, from garrisons to settlements of non-military persons. I was hoping that you have more documentation to show about Ottoman Hungary. There is never enough primary information on hand about Turkish presence outside of military forces fighting the Hapsburgs or skirmishing inside Hungary. I am always interested in more.
Hungarians are well aware of this...Hungary was like a battle field at those times...
Hopefully, we will avoid these fraternal tragedies in the future.
