Che and Trotsky are my favourite Marxist Revolutionaries. Nothing fake about these two. Castro and Lenin were the reality while Che and Trotsky were the idealism and the romance.

Personally, Che is a tragic person to me. He is not my hero, but I find him to be very fascinating and a very stimulating historical figure. I kind of wish he had stuck to his motorcycle adventures and his medical career. He had a burning care for his fellow woman and man. He wanted to empower people so they would not be taken advantage of.

I think every South American should know that people like Che tried to make things better for them. Hopelessly flawed, but sometimes it is the gesture that counts more than any success.

Che and Trotsky were executed and neither got any kind of trial. It is barbaric and unlawful what they did to both these men. However, both lived by the sword and believed the sword could bring them the ideological dream of their longing for a fair system for their people. Both died by the sword.

A very beautiful, romantic figure, ideological and flawed. He certainly made an impression. I doubt South America will ever forget him.

    Chavism/Madurism

Also the first coup d'etat attempt from Chavez in 1992 was planed many years in advance by the Venezuelan far left, since the times of the Venezuelan guerrillas.

And the Che Guevara is known as being the father of the guerrilla movements in Latin America.

The Venezuelan Chavist/Madurism doesn't get tired of idolizing the figure of che guevara

The only people in Brazil that view him positively are purple haired gender-studies graduate Champagne socialist metro-sexual dykes that have no grasp of reality, not even to the most basic degree. Or political communists. (we do have full--blown communist parties here, not just the ones that are but pretend they aren't.)

Needless to say, I hate him.

A great Human being who stood up against the imperialism of his time. Deserves respect, even if I think the state should be a bit smaller than what he believed. Dá-lhe Che nos bolsominions!
