Who are the most genetically divergent Europeans?

My intention isn't starting a quarrel among Europeans but this sort of thread has a predisposition to be... stimulating.

In the PC analysis below Finns, most Estonians and some Swedes appear to be the outliers but it's important to be aware that the Russian samples came from Central Russia, not from the South, Northwest, Volga or the Urals, in which case I'd expect to see more varying results.



Meanwhile, the following PCA shows a plot where the previous populations are less atypical and whilst some samples were from Southern Russia, there still were none from further North or from the Urals and this time all Finnish samples came from the South of Finland. What surprised me was the place Canarians plotted, since I expected them to be more outlying owing to their Guanche admixture.

True, but some populations might not have been analysed.
If what I said is correct I wonder why people tend to nag some Southern Europeans much more than them though I have a good guess why.

It seems to be a common division tactic among some ideologues, also the 'white' identitarians seem to be threatened by southerners, like you said, because migrants in their countries can overlap with them, at least by virtue of appearance, which is understandable to a degree.

Lol, the Finns are Mongoloid meme has been a hardcore subject of anthro forums since the dawn of the internet. It's probably not mentioned much on here these days because it seems pretty much all Finnish posters left the forum.

I know that meme but I still think Greek Islanders and Southern Italians are targeted a lot more despite not being as outlying.

Finns are outlying in autosomal cluster largely due to isolation since the dramatic founder effect event about 120 generations ago rather than their Siberian admixture alone. Southern Italians and Greek Islanders are not isolated populations and cluster in continuity with other Southern Europeans even if they are shifted closer to Levantines due to admixture. With this distinction the situation may be perceived somewhat differently for each.

What about the other Northeastern Europeans then?

And how significant really is the Levantine admixture? Couldn't it be in fact Aegean admixture given that Mycenaeans and Minoans were close to Southern Italians and Greek Islanders albeit even more Southern shifted? Apropos, I've seen statements that some regions like Calabria have been isolated for some time.
