Based on these world maps of original skin color of original inhabaitants based on evolution, climate, geography, region, the power of the sun, etc. We all have differences phenotypes and yes therefore skin color. Judging by these maps the original inhabitants of Spain and Portugal (from about Madrid's latitude all the way south) should be darker and be the same color as people from North Africa (north of the Sahel) and the same color as Levant Jews/Arabs/. They should be the same color as many of the Berbers native to North Africa and the Arabs of the Levant and the Egyptians and yet many Spaniards are lighter skinned (especially once you go north of Madrid).
My question is when was Spain invaded and what happened to the original inhabitants and their more swarthy darker complexions? Where they intermixed heavily by 'pure' whites from North of Spain and the rest of continental Europe?
