Default Turkish army enters Syria's Idlib to implement de-confliction zone

Turkish reconnaissance units entered the Syrian province of Idlib on Sunday, eyeing locations for surveillance posts needed for the implementation of the de-escalation zone in the region, Turkey’s Army said in a statement Monday. The northern de-escalation zone in Idlib was agreed upon by the guarantor countries – Russia, Iran and Turkey – and approved by the Syrian government within the framework of the peace negotiations in Astana. Turkish troops are operating strictly within the rules of engagement drawn up by the guarantor countries, the army stressed.

    YPG-held Efrin should be next.

Afrin won't be next because there are no Islamist terrorists there, and Turkey cannot invent an excuse to invade.

The financial collapse of Turkey will be next...

It's going to be a mixed blessing. A collapsed Turkey won't be sending its' airplanes over the Greek airspace every day and it won't be threatening Greece, perhaps it would even compromise in Cyprus. On the other hand, a bankrupt Turkey won't be controlling the refugee influx towards Greece, although those refugees would not be able to go any further north of Greece anyway, so they won't have much of an incentive to come here.
