Is this y dna of Albania, Kosovar Albanians or of Albanians in general?

That would be the chart for all shqiptars tested including those in greece, sandzak etc.

Here are the appropriate charts split into ghegs/tosks of the tested so far (not sure if this includes kosovars or not but I would imagine it does since it adds up to over 600 tested). The numbers seem to be done wrong or are not up to date.




It is best to look at the charts seperately because for example shqiptars in greece have different charts/dna to the rest and skew the results.

The strongest haplogroup among Albanians from Preševo/Bujanovac (southern Serbia) and Kosovo Pomoravlje (southeastern Kosovo) is J2b-M241.

In the genetic studies done on 629 albanians a grand total of 0 have come out with J2b-M241, this obviously includes kosovars. Where are you getting your data from? Ethnic serbs?

Can you screenshot the results onto here. Would be an idea to do so before mentioning specific haplogroups and tying them up to a particular group of people, we need proof like provided above

J2b-L283 is a subclade of J-M241. A quarter of tested Ghegs (in the chart you posted) are confirmed to have it.
