forget comparisons with small countries, the independence of catalonia is a delirium, people should mentalise themselves

the future is to stop granting privileges, to stop considering Barcelona as the second capital, relocating companies to other more grateful regions. And stop buying products to force companies to manufacture outside of Catalonia.

When Catalonia is a mediocre region then they should pay low taxes and perhaps stop crying.

No. Switzerland offered an intermediation, although they admitted that there are still no conditions to that.

El Vaticano rejects independence and defends legality. You have to understand that along with Italy, Spain is one of the most important support for them (sadly for me as I'm an atheist)

The only explicit support they have is Venezuela, which is no surprise given the the nature of the republic the independentists want to create.

Slovenia and Croatia might have been the most developed regions of Yugoslavia but they were still fairly backwards in comparison to the rest of Europe. For you to have an idea, Catalonia's GDP is around $255.204 billion. It is higher than modern states of Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia's GDP combined.

Most of Catalans descend from Andalusians, starting by their president Puigdemont.
Many of their main politicians are partially or fully Andalusians.

The boss of the Mossos de Esquadra, his parents, are from Valladolid.

I doubt in the interviews they say something different, but if they did, they are cheating you (it makes sense since they are compulsive liars).

I wished to say, that like Catalonia belongs to the most developed regions of the country, Slovenia and Croatia were the most developed regions of the country, too.

Hopefully the future of Catalonia is neither the Czechoslovakian nor the Yugoslavian variant: meaning I hope they stay within Spain. I always liked Spain, Portugal... So laid back, chill ppl with great history, culture, amazing architecture... And why do they want independence? One word: greed... They want the money to remain in the region. Well that's a shortsided view: part of the idea of EU is based on solidarity, they shouldn't be so shortsighted, because if the other parts of Spain are richer, they themselves would be richer and there would be no confrontations. Hopefully Calexit is stopped because it could trigger a dangerous effect...
