I have Chechen/Dagestani roots.
We still speak Russian, although, my Russian was not great until I took a particular effort to study it later in life.
But it's true we are not culturally Russified, though I prefer the patriarchy and traditionalism of Russia and Eastern Europe to the liberalism of the West.

Also, what is "Rus" anyway? He's kinda right too, Rus was from Scandinavia and brought their tribes with them, because the Slavic tribes invited them to come rule them so one Slavic tribe would not have more power than the other. And the Rus-ians have been playing the supremacy game ever since.

As you know Muslims in Russia are not black or brown like most muslims in western Europe, they are from Caucasus or central-asia. Besides Moscow has roughly 15 million habitants, 1.5M muslims is 10%, Brussels is much smaller (around 1.5M), of wich 30%+ are muslims. I didn't wrote that Moscow had the higher percentage of muslism, I wrote that is estimated to have the largest muslim population in Europe.
